My name is Emily, I go by Em most often. I grew up and currently live next to the Penn State campus, which means I have dealt with college students all my life. I've learned not to leave the house on home football game weekends, as our rather moderate town becomes the 3rd largest city in PA, after Philly and Pitt. I'm rather obsessed with Harry Potter, both the Canon and Fanon. I love Wizard Rock and love that it promotes literacy and that the community does such things as the HP Alliance to spread the word about Darfur. I'm a Mugglenet/Mugglecast fan, although I still love Leaky and Pottercast. I got to meet the Mugglecasters/Pottercasters and Wizard Rockers and it was one of the best moments of my life, thanks to Prophecy. I love Literary Theory and analyzing text (Victorian Era, being my favorite). I love studying about different religions and philosophy. I also love studying politics as well. I'm more British than the Britons. Seriously, I have a friend from Wales that says all I need is an accent. I watch British TV, I listen to British music, I use British slang. I love London especially, but it's really expensive. I will be moving to England in two years, I have a few places I'm looking at now.
